Award of a Jeweled Cross to Archpriest Peter Baulk
During the festive liturgy on the day of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Grace Bishop of Sacrament Irinei awarded Archpriest Peter Baulk, the clergyman of the Cathedral, with a Jeweled Cross for services to the Church and the Council.
Celebration of the Dormition of the Mother of God
His Grace, Bishop Irenei, the Administrator of the Diocese of Gt Britain and Ireland served the Vigil Service on Sunday evening 27th August, for the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, and was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly, and Protodeacon Dionysus, and in the congregation was the Archpriest Paul Elliott. During the service after the Gospel all the congregation venerated the Dormition Icon and were anointed and given the blessed bread to sustain them during the service.
Fr Peter Baulk retired from the Administration Duties of Deputy Rector of the Cathedral
On 28th August Fr Peter Baulk retired from the Administration Duties of Deputy Rector of the Cathedral, but remains attached to the clergy of the Cathedral and blessed to serve anywhere in the Diocese. He will still serve and conduct baptisms, weddings and funerals and other services.
