Coronavirus update: 09/01/2021

Dear parishioners, we have changed the rules for attending services. For services within the Church, only 40 people can be into the upper church, and only 20 people into the lower church. Distance inside the church 1.5 - 2.0 m. One cannot expect communion outside the Church. On Sundays, you can come after the late service for communion and confession. Those who wish to receive the Holy Communion after the Liturgy must contact Fr. Vitaly 07935700721.

Holy Fire

A flame from the Holy Fire will be arriving at the Cathedral on Holy Saturday (15th April) at approximately 11pm. The Holy Fire is a miracle that occurs every year at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on Great Saturday, or Holy Saturday when a blue light emanates within Jesus Christ’s tomb inside the Holy Sepulchre, which eventually forms a column containing a form of fire, from which candles are lit, which are then used to light the candles of the clergy and pilgrims in attendance.

Visit of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, accompanied by the Wonder Working Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God

His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York and the ruling bishop of the diocese of Great Britain and Ireland, arrived in London on Monday 13th March for his second archpastoral visit to the diocese this year. Together with proto-deacon Denis, Metropolitan Hilarion brought the Wonder Working Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God.
