The Orthodox Open Seminar

Our Open Seminar will take place on the 25th to the 27th December, 2014. The themes and programmes of the seminar are under development.

The usual opening date for the seminar is the 25th December – and this year we will also start our Orthodox open seminar on Thursday, 25th December, in the afternoon. The opening of the meeting will be held at 3 p.m.

For more than 30 consecutive years, our Orthodox Seminar takes place in Munich every year. These days it is not difficult to discover information. However, in previous years the main purpose of these meetings was not the exchange of information but the opportunity to be able to feel, to experience Orthodoxy. Such a meeting is a live communication with pastors, daily services, meals together, meeting new people, discussions, may be even some problems with accommodation – all this makes for a few days of a different life.

The Seminar is going to host more than 100 people (see the proceedings of the seminars in  2009 2010 20112012) and we are asking in advance, especially the presenters, to send in their requests and suggestions by email  to ed.ro1524303069bos@t1524303069katno1524303069k1524303069, and to arrange in advance all the necessary documents (visas).

We invite all Orthodox people who would like to know more about the life of our Church, regardless of age or place of residence. Please, register in advance by specifying the first and last name, an email address and phone number(s) – with each party separately, but noting marriage. It is necessary for the arrangement of accommodation and meals. Please, let us know if you need accommodation or if you have a place to stay in Munich.
