Sisterhood
Sisterhood’s obligations include keeping our church and other premises clean. The Sisterhood also maintains priests’ vestments, bakes prosphoras, sells icons, candles and books, prepares holiday meals etc.
Sisterhood prepares Sunday meals for everyone. This allows our parish members and guests to get together after the service, closer meet each other and find new friends.
The Sisterhood acts according to the Rules adopted in the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and is subordinated to the senior priest. All Sisterhood’s profits are used for our church needs and help to the poor. The cash flows and financial reports of the Sisterhood are checked by the Revision Committee of our parish.
The role of the Sisterhood in our parishes abroad is immense and everyone of us should help and assist it.
