Church Council
The duly appointed Sacristan Rector & Parish Priest is has the charge of the Parish and unless otherwise appointed normally acts as the Chairman of the Parish Council and presides at all meetings of the Church Council. With blessing of Diocesan Bishop, the Parish Rector, another priest on the staff of the Parish may take on this responsibly.

The parish priest is responsible before the Diocesan Authorities as the direct head of the parish, and responsible for the proper organisation of the Church and the parish.
The Parish priest is supported in the running of the Parish life by the assistant clergy, the Starosta, Churchwarden (Ktitor), Treasurer, Head Sister and Choir Director and Sacristan who are dei facto members of the Church Council.
The parishioners elect all the other members of the Council at the Annual General Meeting, but the Trustees. Any parishioner who regularly confesses, partakes of the communion, pays the annual dues and who is good standing in the parish may be elected to the Church Council
The annual Parish dues are GBP 50 for an individual or GBP 200 per family. However, when a family or individual is unable to pay this sum in a single payment; with the agreement of the parish priest and Treasurer, the dues can be paid quarterly or monthly and the amount can be reduced at the discretion of the parish priest.

In addition to the Council members, the members of the Board of Trustees of the Church Charity are invited to join in the deliberations of the Church Council. The Church Council has the discretion of co-opting non-elected members on to the Council until next AGM and for allowing Trustee members to attend and vote at Church Council meetings.
The Churchwarden is elected at an Annual General Meeting for a period of three years. All the other Officers of the Church Council are elected for one year. The Head Sister is elected at a Sisterhood General Meeting
